The Play Memories software has been flagged by Apple as an app that will no longer be supported for over a year - this isn't new information. And telling me to use the USB cable is just insulting. Having to physically plug my camera into the computer every time I want to download photos is a huge PITA. This app lets you remotely play back, delete, and transfer photos or videos taken with the camera to your smartphone or another device. Not available on some models. Refer to 'Specifications' for details. PlayMemories Online is a cloud service for photos and videos by Sony. Using All Sync, any number of photos taken on your smartphone are safely stored automatically for free. Easily create a memorable photo collection and share it with family and friends.

Apr 04, 2011  When I start up boot camp set up I choose the option 'Download the Windows support software for this Mac' and it returns the message 'The Windows support software is not available.' I can't get past this screen. I'm running OS X 10.6.7. Does anyone know if there's an update I'm missing? Can anyone explain this? Thanks in advance. Mac windows support software not available.

2. 2. You can adjust the image quality of ARQ-format images generated by Pixel Shift Multi Shooting and develop them into TIFF, JPEG, or other formats.

In 'Pixel Shift Multi Shooting' the camera shoots four RAW images while shifting the image sensor. You can generate images with a higher resolution than is possible with regular shooting by combining the four RAW images on a PC. This is helpful when shooting still subjects, such as works of art and buildings.
In addition, when combined with ILCE-7RM4, the camera can shoot 16 RAW images to achieve ultrahigh-resolution shooting with information equivalent to 963.2 million pixels (approx. 60.2 million pixels x 16).
